Its like hitting a brick wall.
Trying to push through, yet in vain.
It's determined not to budge.
After pouring my heart into pushing myself through .
It collapses.
Though, toppling on top of me.
Knocking the breath out of me , slowly sufficating me.
O how I yearn for the sweet taste of fresh air.
For what lyes past this horrible wall.
Fighting for the surface.
It seems so far away.
It makes me want to give up.
Though, that would be such a waste.
Wouldn't it?
So I continue on.
Climbing and fighting.
Getting my bones smashed and flesh torn in the process.
Slipping, Stubling, falling.
Perservering throught it all.
I fight for the small glimer of light I see shining through the cracks of ruble.
Hitting dark spots on occation.
Those are the hardest, for I see no end to this painful climb.
Though  I hear a voice telling me to push.
Telling me to conquor this wall that has landed ontop of me.
To climb with every beat of my beaten bloody heart.
So I continue, climbing through the ruble.
Ignoring my doubt, fear, frustration, and lonlieness.
Knowing that the voice I heard is with me.
Always.
Never leaving or forsaking me.
Longing to meet the voice.
I can only imagine.
